The 10th round of amendments to the Building Lots and Buildings Transaction Business Law sought to enhance transactional guarantees. The amount of reimbursement guarantee funds was raised, so additional deposits were made. Deposit custodial services started. (System whereby deposits, etc. are received on behalf of the real estate company (full member of the association) representing the seller in accordance with the provisions of Article 64.3 of the Building Lots and Buildings Transaction Business Law and held until the property passes hands and the change of ownership is registered.) |

Applied to the Ministry of Construction to approve the addition of new residential houses, new condominiums, and residential lots to the scope of deposit guarantee services, which had covered only existing residential houses and existing condominiums. |
