(Established for the purpose of working for the safety of transactions through the implementation of a system to insure deposits on property sold via agencies and registered with a distribution organization accredited by Zennichi, and for the purpose of enhancing the functions of the Real Estate Guarantee Association.) | |

| November 1988 | The 10th round of amendments to the Building Lots and Buildings Transaction Business Law sought to enhance transactional guarantees. The amount of reimbursement guarantee funds was raised, so additional deposits were made. Deposit custodial services started. (System whereby deposits, etc. are received on behalf of the real estate company (full member of the association) representing the seller in accordance with the provisions of Article 64.3 of the Building Lots and Buildings Transaction Business Law and held until the property passes hands and the change of ownership is registered.) |
